πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ« Learning Coach Accounts

πŸ“§ The Learning Coach (LC) will receive an email from registration@k12.com titled:
"Welcome! Access Important School Account Info Here!"

πŸ“© This email contains instructions to create the Online School (OLS) LC Account.

⏱️ If the email doesn’t arrive within 24–48 hours after your first student’s registration is approved, please check your SPAM folder.


πŸ› οΈ Learning Coach Online School Account Set Up

πŸ”˜ Click the Set Up OLS Accounts button in the registration email.

πŸ“ The Account Sign Up page will display.
πŸ” Enter the Registration ID listed in the email.
Idea
Best practice: copy/paste the Registration ID. If entering manually, use ALL CAPS followed by a number.


βœ… Click the Submit button.

πŸ”’ Fill out all required fields. Please note:

  • πŸ†” You may select the system's auto-generated username or create your own.

  • ❗ The system will prompt you on any username/password requirements.

  • ❓ Select a Security Question and provide a memorable  security question answer only you know.
    πŸ›‘οΈ Note that teachers, school administration, and K12 Customer Support may request the Security Question to verify your identity. 

πŸ”“ Click the Sign Up button.
πŸ“„ A Confirmation page will display letting you know the LC account was created.

πŸ“₯ Check your personal email to verify the account.


⏭️ Next Steps: Click the Sign Up Student Accounts button on the confirmation page.


πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ“ Student Online School Account Set Up

❗ Important:
Setting up the Student Online School Account is extremely important! School work must only be completed when logged into the Online School using the Student Account credentials. 


πŸ§‘β€πŸŽ“ Click Sign Up Student Accounts.

πŸ‘€ Choose the student's name and click Select Student.

πŸ–ŠοΈ On the next page, fill out the fields to create the student’s account credentials:

  • 🧾 Username: The system will suggest one, or you can create your own.

  • πŸ“§ Recovery Email: Enter a personal email you or the student check regularly. This email will be used to recover the student's username or reset the password.

  • πŸ”‘ Password: Create one that’s easy for the student to remember. The system will prompt you on any password requirements. 

  • ❓ Security Question & Answer: Use one that’s memorable and private. Note that teachers, school administration, and K12 Customer Support may request the Security Question to verify your identity. 

βœ… After completing the fields, click Sign Up.

πŸŽ‰ A confirmation message will appear:
Your Student’s Online School account has been created.

πŸ” Click Sign Up Student Accounts again to repeat these steps for additional students.
