So Many Different ID Numbers For Students And What They Mean

Student ID

The Student ID number is assigned to each student by Corporate Stride. This ID is the number we use to look up students in all of the Total View Systems. In State Powerschool (https://cie.powerschool.com/admin), this number is found in the student's Demographics page in the "Area Neighborhood" box. Families are given their student ID's at enrollment. Learning Coaches can locate their student's ID in the parent portal.









Identity ID

The Identity ID number is assigned to each student from the Corporate level of Stride. This number will replace the Student ID number when we adopt the K12 National Level of PowerSchool. In TotalView Enrollment, this number can be found by clicking on "View History" on the student's profile page. In State PowerSchool the Identity ID is found in the student's Demographics page in the "Previous ID" box.






State Student Number

The student number is the student's PowerSchool number on the state level. This number is used to search for students in the state instance of PowerSchool (https://cie.powerschool.com/admin). 




State ID

The student State ID number is found in the student's state instance of PowerSchool (https://cie.powerschool.com/admin). This number is mostly used for testing.
