Login Troubleshooting: Clearing Cache/Cookies

Clearing Cache and Cookies

Clearing Cache/Cookies

When you use a browser, like Chrome or Firefox, it saves some information from websites in its cache and cookies. Clearing them fixes certain problems, like loading or formatting issues on sites.

If you use Google Chrome:

Open a Chrome tab. At the top right, click the three dots menu. Select “Clear browsing data”. Or, you can click on Ctrl+Shift+Delete on your keyboard.

Choose a time range and select “all time”. Next to “Cookies and other site data” and “Cached images and files” check the boxes. Click Clear data.

If you use Firefox:

Open a browser window. At the top right, click the hamburger (three lines) menu and select “Settings” or “Options”.

Go to the “Privacy and Security” section.  Scroll down until you can select “Clear data” in the “Cookies and Site data" section.

After you follow those instructions, you will want to shut all browser windows and restart your computer.
