Check for Known Maintenance
If you are unable to log into the K12 School, check the Announcement area of the Help.K12.com website for a maintenance alert or service disruption. The Announcement area is located on the right hand side of this help site.
Basic Login Troubleshooting Steps
If you are having trouble logging in to the K12 School, we recommend the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Ensure your CAPS Lock is not on and verify that you are entering your username and password exactly as it was created.
2. Ensure you are using a K12 Supported Browser. If you're uncertain, review Recommended Browsers. We recommend Google Chrome.
3. Clear your browser cache and cookies, then restart your browser. For more assistance, review Internet Browsers - Clear Cache and Cookies.
4. To identify whether the issue is specific to your computer or more widespread, attempt to log into the OLS from a different computer.
5. Pop into the K12 Back to School Support Room K12.com/studenthelp, and someone from the National Operations Team can assist.
Student "Locked Out". Guide to Unlocking
- Start by going to learn0.k12.com and click Need Help Logging In? then select Unlock Account.
- Type in your LC or student Username then select Send Email. Now it’s time to check your email.
- Log in to the email account associated with your K12 profile and look for an email from no-reply@k12.com. Once you open the email, your account will be automatically unlocked.
- Head back to learn0.k12.com and try logging in!
- If you are still unable to log in, pop into the K12 Back to School Support Room K12.com/studenthelp, and someone from the National Operations Team can assist.
Forgot Username/Password
Find Your Username:
- Start by going to learn0.k12.com and click Need Help Logging In? then select Forgot Username.
- Type in your Email associated with your account then click Send Username. Now it’s time to check your email.
- Log in to the email account associated with your K12 profile and look for a message from K12-confirmation@k12.com. This email will contain your username.
- If you do not receive an email or are still unable to log in, pop into the K12 Back to School Support Room K12.com/studenthelp, and someone from the National Operations Team can assist.
- Start by going to learn0.k12.com and select Need Help Logging In? then select Forgot Password?.
- Type in your LC or student Username then click Send Reset Link. Now it’s time to check your email.
- Log in to the email account associated with your K12 profile and look for an email from no-reply@k12.com. Once you receive the email, you’ll have 1 hour to click Reset Password and update your password. After entering your new password, be sure to click Reset Password again to confirm the change.
- Once successfully saved, you will received another email from no-reply@k12.com confirming your new password has been updated.
- Head back to learn0.k12.com and try logging in with your new password!
- If you do not receive an email or are still unable to log in, pop into the K12 Back to School Support Room K12.com/studenthelp, and someone from the National Operations Team can assist.
Invalid Username and Password
If you recently transferred to a different K12 School or school district within your K12 School, you would need to create a new Learning Coach OLS account.
Please check your email inbox (including your email spam folder) for an email from Registration@K12.com.This email will provide the instructions you need to create a new Learning Coach account.
How to Create a Secure Login
It's important to create a safe and secure login. Here are some suggestions and good practices when creating login information for any platform:
Usernames:
Should be 6-50 characters in length.
Do not include spaces.
Certain special characters are allowed, such as: underscore (_), dash (-), at symbol (@), period (.)
Passwords:
Never use the same information for your username and password.
Should be more than 8 characters in length.
When creating your login information, most systems will prompt you for additional password requirements.
