Deferred Compensation

Deferred compensation offers a way to supplement your retirement contributions; in other words, it does not replace your current state retirement contribution. You can enroll or change your amount at any time.

Here are some helpful links if you are considering participating in deferred compensation:

You should be able to enroll online. Be sure to follow the steps listed at the bottom of the Enrollment Information page linked above.

If you are unable or unwilling to enroll online, you can download a form from the same link. You can view a sample form at this link (note that central staff should use the CASC payroll center code). If you choose to complete a paper form, DO NOT mail it to the office or email it to HR. Send it to the address listed on page 5 of the document. 

The HR department cannot advise on whether or not you should participate, nor can they advise on investment options. If you need assistance in the enrollment process, please speak with the deferred compensation advisor assigned to your region.
